 Dear EPIC Members,

The Cultural Arts Action Team works to promote awareness and involvement in the region’s cultural arts institutions, destinations, and experiences. The greater Toledo area and surrounding region offer a wealth of world-class cultural opportunities and the Cultural Arts Action Team devotes their efforts to planning events that will allow EPIC members to take advantage of everything the area has to offer.

The Cultural Arts Action Team promotes two types of event throughout the year:

Backstage Pass: Backstage Pass events allow EPIC members to engage in truly unique “behind the scenes” artistic experiences. Past Backstage Pass events have included: a Toledo Symphony musician lecture and concert rehearsal, a series of behind the scenes tours at the Toledo Museum of Art, and a film preview of Glass City at the Collingwood Arts Center that concluded with a special Q&A session for EPIC members.

Spotlight Events: Spotlight Events promote an existing cultural event in the area. Often times these events will offer special incentives of some sort for EPIC members. Past spotlight events have included: Arts Gone Wild, a pre-concert experience and special EPIC concert section at the Toledo Symphony, Art-o-Matic, Masterworks Chorale, and Third Thursday Art Walks.

The Cultural Arts Action Team is planning many fun and exciting things for 2010 and invite you to come to one of our meetings at Downtown Latte on St. Clair on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30am.
